Centenary celebrations were begun on the 100^th birth anniversary of MK Binodini Devi by Imasi Foundation at Sri Sri Govindajiu Temple, with the launch of two books. They are Wari Macha Binodinigi, the Collected Short Stories of Binodini, a student edition in Manipuri written in Meitei Mayek (www.imasi.org/imasibooks); and Nil Sandhyar Agun Megh, the first Bangla translation of Binodini, of her play Asangba Nongjabi and essay Sri Bhavana, by Minati Ghosh (www.bhashasansad.com).
