The objective of the Imasi Foundation is to preserve, protect, promote and develop the artistic, intellectual and cultural legacy of Majaraj Kumari Binodini Devi. It supports and develops initiatives in Manipur's culture and heritage: its history, literature, performing arts, film, crafts, women, youth, sports, internationalism, environment, and religion.
Co-presented by the Sahitya Akademi of New Delhi, tributes from the Dr. Najma Heptulla, Governor of Manipur, Leimarenbi Haobi Maharani Anamika Devi of Manipur, and writers, artists, and admirers including from Jaipur Literature Festival, Penguin Random House India, and Manipur University.
